Dr Cristiane Albuquerque Braga is a female General Dentist who speaks Portuguese and Spanish (as well as English).
After graduating with a BDS degree in 2002, Cristiane has more than 15 years of clinical experience in General Dental Practice treating patients in all areas of dentistry.
In 2005, she successfully completed her Post Graduation in Orthodontics, since than became heavily involved in treating patients with traditional braces and Invisalign (invisible braces that opened the doors for patients who never previously considered orthodontics).
She also has special interests in Aesthetic Dentistry (including derma-fillers and botox) and Rehabilitation.
After working for 6 years in her private practice in Brazil Dr Braga has migrated to Australia and lives on the Gold Coast with her husband Dr Tiago Braga who is also a dentist and an academic.
In March 2011, she completed the Mini-Residency Orthodontic Programme in Sydney Australia.
Since 2012 she holds the position of Lecture in General Dental Practice, at the School of Dentistry and Oral Health, Griffith University and is the Discipline lead for Orthodontics and Growth & development at the dental school.
From 2010 to 2017, she was involved as a collaborator of the International Journal Orthodontics (IJO) doing translations of very interesting cases and articles related to Orthodontics.
